Anyway, Osman and whatever this black op program of hers is, they're far more deserving of his anger. None of this was an accident. And as much as he wants to deny it, Sarah is right. He's emotionally compromised. As long as he can keep ahead of it and not let it interfere with the mission, then ONI can shove it. He's not losing Infinity just yet.
"I could never have made it without you." He gives her a small but warm smile. As much as it hurt, as surreal as it was... seeing her again... Not all of that pain was necessarily bad. She had inspired him to be better, both as a soldier and a person.
